Good Neighbours Charity Shop

Description: The Ilkley Community Fund originates from the Ilkley Council for Voluntary Service and was founded in 1994.

Its aims and objectives are the protection and support of all worthwhile voluntary projects, which are solely for the benefit of the Local Community of Ilkley, Burley Menston and Addingham

The Community Fund receives its income from Trusts, Legacies and donations. It is also strongly supported by the Ilkley and Burley Good Neighbours Charity Shops, which like the rest of the organisation, are entirely staffed by unpaid volunteers.

All the moneys generated by the two shops and from donations etc. are distributed to Local Voluntary Groups, concerned with improving the quality of life in their locality.

Grants have already been distributed to over 40 organisations and many more applications are expected.
