Join local historian Adam White on a journey to Ilkley's Roman past. Learn about the fascinating rediscovery of the Verbeia Stone and how it links to William Camden's Britannia in the early 1600s. Discover the role of William Middelton, the local squire, in preserving the artefact and making a copy of the altar. Both stones are now displayed side-by-side in the Manor House. Don't miss this intriguing talk!
