SUMMER 2024

Ilkley in Bloom volunteers meet on a Sunday morning at

9.30 am in the Contract Area of the Central Car Park. Other working times are arranged as required.

New volunteers are MOST welcome.

If Sunday morning is a problem, but you would still like to volunteer, please contact me as we do work at other times, and we could also suggest areas where you could work at a time to suit yourself.   If you would be interested in looking after a particular area, maybe near to where you live,  please get in touch.

Our work comprises maintaining the various planters and small areas of gardens that we look after in the town, together with some litter picking and other jobs as we see necessary.

These planted areas briefly include:

South Hawksworth Street Car Park - planters, barrier boxes, shrubberies, toilet walls

Troughs on Church Street and Leeds Road

Police Station Garden

Medical Centre Garden - left hand side

Sensory Garden at the end of the Grove (adjacent to Martinez)

Please get in touch if you would like further information.

We can help with tools, such as litter pickers, bags etc.  We have Ilkley in Bloom tools such as forks, spades, loppers etc which we use when working on a Sunday.
