The Olicana Historical Society, which is affiliated to the Yorkshire Archaeological and Historical Society, arranges an annual winter programme of lectures on a variety of subjects of both general and local historical interest.

Meetings are normally held in the JLA Room at the Clarke-Foley Centre, Cunliffe Road, Ilkley, starting at 7.30pm. with tea or coffee available afterwards.

In summer a programme of visits is arranged for members. Where possible these visits are linked to the winter lectures.

Members can also use the facilities of the Yorkshire Archaeological and Historical Society in Leeds.

The annual subscription is £10. Non-members are welcome at the lectures, provided they are not over-subscribed. The cost for a non-member is £3 per lecture.
